Amir Sufi - Kitchen of Love

03:58 min – Written by Amir Sufi and harry jen. Arranged by Amir Sufi, harry jen and Beni Brachtel. Synths by harry jen and Beni Brachtel. Guitars by Beni Brachtel. All vocals by Amir Sufi. Produced by harry jen. Kitchen of Love was created on SVS. Photo and cover art by Mayolove.

What is your favourite meal? What are you’re looking for? Baby how would you feel if I was cooking for you? It can’t be no coincidence – more than you could wish – I got the right ingredients for that beautiful dish. Oh let’s go! Put the meat in the oven and roast it, lay the sausage and cheese on the toast before you toast it, heat the eggs in the microwave, watch it spin the plate before it will explode all over the place. When you burn your hands then you will understand that the oven is so hot when you’re cooking in my kitchen of love.

If you not yet like the taste I’m gonna add some spice. Don’t you eat it up too fast or it’s stuck in the wrong pipe. Let us do all the things that you won’t find on the menu. I hope you don’t mind if I bring some friends that are hungry, too. Oh, you say you never thought it could be so delicious. Baby you take a guess who’s washing the dishes. Everything’s gotta be as clean as before we all had been coming into my brandnew kitchen of love. When you burn your hands then you will understand that the oven is so hot when you’re cooking in my kitchen of love.

From the first time that you burned your hands you will ever remember that it is served as hot as it cooked when you’re cooking in the kitchen of love, baby. When you salt that noodle in the pot and you know that I like that a lot, so much that I want some dessert, then you’re cooking in the kitchen of love, yeah. Baby you know I got the recipe to put on your tongue a little taste of me. I feel that we shouldn’t go on this way to keep you from overweight. I got oil in my pans and the water is boiling for the noodles in the pot when we’re cooking in my kitchen of love.

Amir Sufi - Dance For 2

04:04 min – Written by Amir Sufi and harry Jen. Arranged and produced by harry jen. Cover art by Mayolove.

Hot girl, you’re shaking your thang for all men to see while you oughta give anything only to me. Baby, the way that you’re moving across the floor makes me be in need of soothing. I’m begging for more. The two of us were meant to be together on the floor tonite, oh baby. I believe that you can show me how to make me feel alright, oh lady, when I give into you.

Oh, you really got a hold on me. You give me any cause to love you. You are in control of me. Baby, when you dance for 2.

I’ve been looking for you baby. What you’re doing on the phone? Your boyfriend? I’ll love you outta him if you let me take you home. All my life I have been waiting for somebody just like you, oh baby. I know that if you give me chance you get to know it’s true love, lady. Now you give into me.

Oh, you really got a hold on me. You give me any cause to love you. You are in control of me. Baby, when you dance for 2.

I never touched somebody like you. Girl, you’re so divine. I just can’t see nothing beside you. I want you to be mine. And when you dance with me I can’t recall what I was yesterday. Do you listen to the words I say? I need to know, will you give into me?

I got a ring around my finger, cuffs around my wrist. My ankles are tied with manacles. Love has got me into this. Honey it’s a fact that this could never work out fine. As much as I’m attracted, I’m trying to get you outta my mind. Because I’ll never never never never never love you. No matter matter matter how much I wanted to. I’m put under a spell of love eternally. You got to forget about me.

My eyes are seeing through you. My mouth is closed and zipped. My ears don’t listen to your aspirating lips. You take away my senses. Don’t seem to want to know that my love is a life sentence. I’m only released on parole. Therefore I’ll never never never never never kiss you. No matter matter matter matter how much I want this, too. I’m a prisoner of love and I am never gonna be free. I’m begging you forget about me.

No, no, no, it feels so wrong how much you make me wanna play with fire. Yeah, yeah, yeah, please go on! I’m giving up, I’m giving out, I’m giving in to my desire. Still I can never never never never never be with you. Whatever ever ever ever you made me do. I remain the captive that you don’t really want to free. Tommorow you’ll forget about me. But I will not forget about you…

Smile and the whole world smiles with you. Head up! Grey skies are turning blue. Sunshine is an easy thing to do, oh yeah. Just smile and the whole world smiles with you. Sing out a happy melody. The world is gonna be your company. Listen to the birds up in the tree, oh yeah. When you sing out a happy melody. Dance! See the world is joining in. Around you swirling butterflies swing. Like the ladybirds and bees you shake your thing, oh yeah. When you dance, see the world is joining in. Clap! Clap your hands and feel the groove. The world is gonna do the same way, too, just like you. Don’t you hear the applause as the wind is blowing through the leaves? Just clap! Clap your hands and feel the beat. It’s so bad when you’re sad. They say something dulcet dies for every tear you cry. So why are you so blue? Cause I know something better you could do: Love! Love as deeply as you can. The world will be your lover and your friend. Like hot lava spat from a vulcano. Just love! Love as deeply as you can. Laugh as you make the world agree. Joyful as the dolphins in the sea. There is no such thing as controversy, no no. Just laugh as you make the world agree. Sunshine is an easy thing to do, oh yeah. When you smile, the whole world smiles with you.

Baby what’s the matter? After all the things that we’ve been through…how can you still be in doubt about my feelings? What am I supposed to do to ever make you understand? You know that you mean everything to me. I gave you flowers, kisses, diamond rings. I have been there when you were in need of something. But baby you ask me in vain for these 3 words you won’t hear me say. Baby … Baby … Baby … You know it girl. Still you want me to say “I lo…”? You know.

What is the point in making us talk it all over again? Oh, how can you be so tenacious about it? What am I to do to ever really make you understand? You know that I feel lucky beyond belief that of all the women in this world I’ve found you. I do not want no other girl. But baby you ask me again for these 3 words that I just can not say. Baby … Baby … Baby … You know it girl, why you want me to say “I lo…”. You know.

You know I really gave you everything. Together we have been travelling the world – all for you girl! Spend my money on your convenience. I tried to never hide my feelings for you. How can this be not enough to show you I’m in …?

You know, what I don’t say is true. For Julia.

Amir Sufi - Disco Hijacking

03:06 min – written by Amir Sufi. Arranged and produced by Martin Bartscher. All instruments by Martin Bartscher. Background vocals and cover art by Mayolove.

I spent the evening with the ladies of a danceclub called “The 80s”. We’ve been dancing, moving, shaking until dawn had overtaken. The night fever stopped the burning as the records stopped the turning. All about to go back home if it had not been for the yearning of a man in a silver suit that noone has ever seen. He raised a gun and said „They call me dance machine!

Hey, Mister DJ! There ain’t nowhere you’re going to! Call it disco hijacking! Mister DJ! Don’t you dare to give me the blues! Now get down everybody again!“

What a fuss and trepidation but despite the agitation I admit his dancing skills did defend his reputation. After hours of jamming on it he said „Thanks, great entertainment!“ Would have finally seen it through if it had not been for the lady in a bright and shiny skirt that noone has ever seen. She raised a gun and said „They call me dancing queen!

Hey, Mister DJ! There ain’t nowhere you’re going to! Call it disco hijacking! Mister DJ! Don’t you dare to give me the blues! Now get down everybody again!“

And when she was finally gone and the lights went on. No more music playing. Mister DJ was so relieved but the minute he was about to leave all people turned to him and said „There ain’t nowhere you’re going to! Call it disco hijacking!“

Trashkids - 05651

15 Songs, 38 Min 51 Sec – All songs written, arranged and performed by Trashkids. Solo guitar by Koschi Flitzefinger. Management by Anusch Sufi. Recorded and produced by Martin Bartscher. Artwork by Mayolove. Released on Mayolove Music / Rough Trade.

It took 20 long years for the Trashkids to record their first album. Martin Bartscher, a fan from the very beginning and also a music producer, invited the four guys to his studio in 2011 to finally preserve the raw original sound of the band that he had such a soft spot for and that he already knew from numerous local live performances. The result is 15 songs that were written between 1991 and 2011 to be released for the very first time.

AMOS Last Song

04:24 Min – Written, arranged, produced and performed by Amir Sufi. Piano and vocals recorded live in AMOS’ studio as the cameras rolled. Strings were added subsequently. The song is taken from the album Showtime.

In my life I sang a million melodies. Some to make me happy. Some made me sad. And now, that I stand before you all, I hope you enjoyed the show the way I had. It’s getting quite, so very quite. The man has come to turn out the light. One last applause, the curtain falls. Goodbye my friends, see you some day. This is the end as far as I can say.

This will be the last song that I ever sing. Please keep remembering me when I’ll be gone. This is the last song.

My friends, the time has come for me to go. Thank you for coming around. I’ll miss you so. So long, let us not be sad. For we all can be glad for the wonderful times we had. Yet this is it. It’s definite. For once in my life I got to quit. One last applause, the curtain falls. Goodbye my friends, see you in hell. This is the end as far as I can tell.

This will be the last song that I ever sing. Please keep remembering me when I’ll be gone. This is the last song.

It’s hard for me to say farewell to the ones I love. I’d love to stay a little longer, but it is enough. Let’s take our memories and lock them in our hearts. For everything that’s ending there’s something new to start.

This will be the last song that I ever sing. Please keep remembering me when I’ll be gone. This is the last song. This will be the last song that I ever ever ever sing. I wish more than anything that when I’m gone someone somewhere is singing this song.

New York City
Don’t know what has got into me, I was never hard to please. Yet I can help but getting weary of this life of vacuity. I can feel something’s missing here to bring out te best of me. You all come too late dissuading me from my destiny.

It is New York City. Where all the dreams come true. Where the girls are pretty and the guys are, too. I’m gonna get myself a ticket tonight. I know, I can make it there. Up to New York City. All that I got to do is dare.

Like a mayfly I’m whirring in the glance of the city lights. Through the veins I am burying just like an erythrocyte. Bursting head, empty wallet but I know, I’m doing fine. I’m almost there, believe all that I need’s a little more time.

Here in New York City. Where all the dreams come true. Where the streets are dirty. Some of the souls are, too. But I’m never gonna quit it. No, I will never go away. I’m in New York City. And I came to stay.

I was born to be living my life in the promised land. But the more that I’m giving the more is getting out of hand. No matter how much I wanted to, I could never let it go. This dream I never lived. It’s far too late for me to wake up.

I’m lost in New York City. The city’s like a magnet. Won’t set you free again. It won’t let you understand you’re lost in New York City. It is a one way street with black hole gravity. A concrete labyrinth. You’re lost in New York City. And when you got the feeling, you’re alone among millions and stay against your will you’re lost in New York City. There is so much at stake. Keep believing you can make it until your heart will break. It’s too late. You’re lost in New York City.
